Sooner, rather than later? I know several people have asked, so I can only imagine Fearless Leader will get to it sooner rather than later.

When are we going to see it?

Is the mentality that if it isn't talked about for long enough that we will forget about it?  :P

In other news, enjoy Halo 4 while you can because the world is most certainly going to end this December.

I dunno. I saw the horrible 48fps and that killed my desire to see it :\

Well, good news for you; they dropped the 48 frames deal... Although I suppose that would be bad new for you, since now you cant whine :P

Seriously? That's excellent news...

Maybe if the old guys had started films at 30 or 48 frames, we'd be wired differently. But it doesn't matter how much Jackson or Cameron want our brains to see their stuff as more lifelike. It just doesn't work.

Wow, just finished reading the third installment of the Datapads article, after reading the other two articles first to make sure I was all caught up for this final installment that I have waited to read for so long.

Oh, and before I post my thoughts, THANK YOU  :)

Also, should we move this to the Fiction discussion section now?

Let's begin with the "solution" that has been uncovered; the unification of an AI with a human being. Are the Minds implying that EVERY human being, Spartan or not, should be integrated with an AI via the human's nervous system? If so, how exactly would this be a major turning point in the war? Sure, human soldiers (i.e. non Spartans) may have improved reflexes, responses, etc. but as we all know, ground engagements were not where a planet's fate was decided; it was the navel battles that essentially dictated the outcome of a planet's survival. AI's are already on board UNSC ships, so would having the captain and essential personal fitted with AI's make that much of a difference in naval battles?

On a some-what related note, whether or not the aforementioned unification was the Minds' intent, if a human integrated with a AI dies, does the AI "die" with the human? Even if said AI had splintered off parts of itself elsewhere, but the core of the AI was still in the human, are the fractions enough to "re-build" the AI?

As for the last datapad entry that was comprised solely of the Discover's writing, I have to agree with the response made by CraZboy557. As based on the date, this was the last thing he wrote down, which was much more coherent than his little introductions to the previous datapads entries, so I think those ramblings were the result of sleep deprivation, dehydration, stress, etc. Although, contrary to what he believes, I think it ended well with an open ended question for us to consider.

At this point, I'm not sure whether or not I would have done anything different, although I am leaning towards no. Initiating contact with the Covenant may or may not have been the most wise decision, which is also up to the opinion of each of us, but I do agree that it is unknown what Humanity would have done if the Minds revealed themselves and their actions.

I hope this isn't the last we hear of this Assembly of Minds, but there wouldn't be much of a chance for there to be datapads on Requiem in Halo 4 since Chief is presumably the first human there, right?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Assembly villains in Halo 7-8-9.

Otherwise, I can't see them pulling off that much more conflict for Chief/humanity while still retaining its importance.
