I am currently enjoying the after-effects of some wonderful Monte Alban mezcal.

OMG Game Grumps.

Love you guys.

I actually have never met a type of alcohol I actually really enjoy. I do love the history of liquor and mixed drinks, though--I've got a collection of bar books and I've been meaning to get ingredients for some lost Gilded Age cocktail recipes.

Root beer is my beverage of choice.

Ginger is an oft underestimated root. I'm lucky in that my first real forays into this most human of sins was through a house of learning.

  • No. There is more. But you are not worthy. Not yet
Red wine if I'm having a relaxed evening. Vodka with whatever if I'm not in it for the taste. Otherwise, I've recently been turned on to whiskey.

I once bought a bottle of red off a friend who found it in their garage. 1969. It was like molten butter.

No wonder you didn't realize you has to download Spartan Ops season 1.5... All the flouride has gone to your brain :P

(Yeah I know lots of people who think I'm crazy when I say I love tap water but I guess I grew up in an area where it was pretty tasty.)

Side note: best water I've ever had was stream water from Goshen, Virginia. You have to dump iodine in it to make it safe to drink, but once you neutralize that taste it's amazing.

Best water I've ever had was from Telluride, Colorado, where we have a cabin. You take the ATV down the road a ways, where years ago somebody stuck a pipe in the ground (literally right under the dirt road on the side of a mountain). The pipe empties out into a basin where a bunch of nasty stuff grows, but if you get the water directly from the pipe and let some of the mineral sediment settle to the bottom, it's the most clear tasting water you could ever drink.

Worst water ever is from Phoenix, AZ. It tastes reclaimed.

Lol, I feel so left out without a "best water" story like you and dave :P Maybe I should consider going farther than 10 miles away from my house sometime...

You're in the midwest, right? 10 miles doesn't get you to anything.

Invest in a Brita filter. You will only have to travel to your refrigerator.
